{"id":371,"date":"2008-09-19T21:03:27","date_gmt":"2008-09-19T09:03:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.deltics.co.nz\/blog\/?p=371"},"modified":"2009-08-07T14:58:41","modified_gmt":"2009-08-07T02:58:41","slug":"delphi-2009-compilerversion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.deltics.co.nz\/blog\/posts\/371\/","title":{"rendered":"Delphi 2009 &#8211; CompilerVersion"},"content":{"rendered":"<span class=\"rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\">[Estimated Reading Time: <\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\">&lt; 1<\/span> <span class=\"rt-label rt-postfix\">minutes]<\/span><\/span><p>Just a short post this one.<\/p>\n<p>Somebody else may already have mentioned this, but I only just figured it out for myself &#8211; the <strong>CompilerVersion <\/strong>for the Delphi 2009 compiler is not what you might expect (and is not what the documentation says it is!).<\/p>\n<p>Both <strong>CompilerVersion<\/strong> and <strong>RTLVersion<\/strong> have the value 20 in Delphi 2009.<\/p>\n<p>In Delphi 2007 these were 18.5 and 18.0 respectively.\u00a0 Confusingly the documentation is correct for <strong>RTLVersion<\/strong> but incorrectly gives 18.0 as the value for <strong>CompilerVersion<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Is anyone else wondering what happened to 19?<\/p>\n<p>Did Delphi 2008 happen after all and I just missed it?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"rt-reading-time\" style=\"display: block;\"><span class=\"rt-label rt-prefix\">[Estimated Reading Time: <\/span> <span class=\"rt-time\">&lt; 1<\/span> <span class=\"rt-label rt-postfix\">minutes]<\/span><\/span> Just a short post this one.
